Roy T. Boston, 85, of Chattanooga, TN passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

Roy was born April 20, 1931 in Dunlap, TN but moved to Chattanooga as a child with his family.

He attended Kirkman Technical School and UTC. He worked at Hamilton County Tax Assessors Office as Chief Draftsman and at Arcades Engineering. He was a member of Chattanooga Rock and Mineral Club and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

He attended Lupton Drive Baptist Church and was a member of the Volunteer Sunday School Class.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel and Cleo Boston, son, Greg Boston, brothers, Willard Boston and Finis Boston and sister, Janis Adams.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Bonnie Boston, daughter, Angela Boston Mooney, granddaughter, Alexandrea Mooney, brother, Ben Boston of Colorado Springs, CO and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Chaplain Christy Bonner officiating. Interment will follow at the Chattanooga Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
