Edwin Lee Jones, 82, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017
Edwin retired as a Signal Mountain mail carrier for the United States Postal Service . He served in the United States Air Force. Edwin was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.
Edwin was preceded in death by parents, Jess and Jennie Jones; brother, James Jones; sisters, Louise Moore and Jean Swanson.
Edwin is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lola Humble; daughter, Linda Saddler; granddaughter, Jessica Sanders; brother, Glen (Frances) Jones
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace and on Wednesday from 11:00-12:30pm
Funeral services for Edwin will be conducted at 12:30 on Wednesday in the Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tony Wilson officiating.
Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.
