Wayne Delmont Rominger Jr

Wayne D. Rominger Jr., 57, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Wayne was born in Chattanooga November 13, 1963. Wayne was an avid boater, he loved water, even though he couldn’t swim a lick. Wayne was a local music entertainer with his karaoke business for over 20 years that began when he lived in Florida. Wayne was one of the first to start Karaoke in the Chattanooga area. Wayne touched many lives and made friends everywhere he went. He was loved by many and will be truly missed by all. Wayne had a larger than life personality and an enormous heart. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and the epitome of kindness, giving and love. Wayne is survived by his parents, Wayne and Evelyn Rominger Sr.; brother, Shane (Shelly) Rominger; sister, Samantha “Sam” (Patrick Booter) Weller; one nephew and one niece; best friend and caregiver, Mark Reynolds; many aunts, uncles and cousins and a multitude of friends. Special thanks to Hearth Hospice and nurse, Cindy Lewis; and Prime Imaging and Holly, Kate and Melanie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made St. Jude Children’s Hospital or your local special Olympics. Visitation is 5:00-7:00 pm Friday at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace. A graveside service will be 10:00 am Saturday in Greenwood Cemetery with Reverend J. R. Fitch officiating.
