Virginia Lee Snyder, 88, of Chattanooga, TN, died peacefully on April 11, 2017.
Virginia was born in the hills of Tennessee on June 26, 1928. She was a retiree from the Chattanooga bakery where she made Moon Pies for many years. Virginia loved her family, the beach and her dog , Sunshine.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years A.W. Snyder; daughter Virginia Gardenhire.
Virginia is survived by her two Daughters Karen Newman of Petaluma, CA and Judy Masters of Chattanooga, TN; three sons Gary ( Jackie) Snyder, Les ( Audra) Snyder and Stanley Snyder all of Dayton, TN; twelve grandchildren and many great and great- great grandchildren

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 10-3 pm at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace
Funeral service for Virginia will be conducted at 3 pm in the Chapel of Lane Funeral Home
Interment will follow to Chattanooga Memorial Park
