Jerry Bickers

Travis Jerry Bickers, 83, of Chattanooga, died August 31, 2020 of cancer. A longtime businessman, Jerry was born in Gadsden, AL in 1937 and was an enthusiastic Alabama football supporter. After serving in the Air Force, he worked several years at Republic Steel in Gadsden prior to joining a firm in Chattanooga. Later, he owned his own company and retired several years ago to travel the world. He is survived by his wife, Ann; sons, Bennie (Debra) of Jefferson, GA, Stephen of Chattanooga, and Kenneth (Liza) of Tampa, FL; brother, Nick (Janet) Giordano; several grand and great-grandchildren; a niece and nephew and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, September 4, 2020 from 1-2pm with funeral to follow in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Rev. Julian Robinson officiating.
