Thomas David Armstrong

Thomas David Armstrong, 92, of Signal Mountain, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 12, 2023.  He was born on October 1, 1930.  He retired from Vulcan Materials Company and served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged at the rank of sergeant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, T. H. and Grace Armstrong and sister, Irene Culpepper.

Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Jean Armstrong; children, Lynn (Pam) Triplett of Sale Creek, TN and Lisa (Steve) Cohen of Chickamauga, GA; grandchildren: Zack (Laura) Cohen, David Cohen, Jeremy (Traci) Triplett, Greg (Elizabeth)  Triplett, Travis (Brittany) Neely, Tyler Neely; several great-grandchildren; niece, Margaret (Bob) Doar of Pompano Beach, FL.

Visitation is 5:00-8:00 pm Sunday and 11:00 until the time of the service Monday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Monday in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Camp officiating.  Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
