Teresa Ann Maynor “Granny T” passed over into Glory to join her late husband, Wallace, on Thursday the 15th of February. She was born in Chattanooga TN on March 27th 1954 to Venor G. and Maurine Ray. She was quick with a smile and always eager to help anyone in need. She was a Blessing to all that had the opportunity to know her. She was a card shark, a backgammon champion and the undisputed queen of crossword puzzles. Sorely missed will be her sarcastic, yet in jest, trademark comment, “yeah right”. She will leave behind a legacy of love and friendship and will never be forgotten. She enjoyed the simple things in life. A scenic drive and a good meal made her immensely happy. Look up the phrase easy to please and you will find her picture next to it.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Wallace R. Maynor, a sister, Sylvia Wooten, and a brother, Don Ray.
Left to cherish her memory are stepsons, Richard Maynor (Angela) of Harrison, Todd Maynor (Stephanie) of Signal Mtn. and Gerald Maynor (Melissa) of Lafayette; Heather Everett and Samuel Headrick whom she considered to be her kids as well. Her beloved sister, Jean Ray of Ringgold and several nieces and nephews including Arlene Forster and Mary Jones, who stayed by her side until the end; ten grandchildren, one great grandchild. She loved all her family and friends as they loved her.

As the old saying goes, A heart is not judged by how much it loves but by how much it is loved by others.

Visitation will be Sunday Feb. 18 from 4:00-8:00pm visitation will also be held on Monday Feb. 19 from 12:00-2:00 pm. The Funeral will follow at 2:00 pm Monday in the Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
