Sylvia Frances Hale, age 67, of Soddy Daisy, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Sylvia, affectionately known as “Nanny”, was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will always be remembered for her awesome cooking and wonderful Christmas dinners. Sylvia was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elton Wood and Francis Wood; and her brother David Wood.
Sylvia is survived by her husband, Danny Hale; daughter, Amanda Waldo (Mike); son, Aaron Hale (Morgan); sister, Janice Brady; and nephew, Craig Brady. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Savannah and Grayson.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Lane Funeral Home ~ Ashland Terrace and a graveside service 11:00 am Friday October 12, 2018 in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Minister Steve Lusk officiating.
