Sharon J. Thompson, 75, of East Ridge, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022. She is a graduate of Central High School and retired from Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute. All of her spare time was spent taking care of her loved ones.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Dyer and Louise White; and her sister, Marsha Krause. Sharon was married to Vernon C. Thompson and is survived by their children, Carla (CB) Meeks and Vee (Tammy) Thompson; grandchildren: Jessica and Hillary Brennen, Michael Meeks, Breanna Thompson, Addysen and Bryley Thompson; and three great-grandchildren: Ellie, Emma and Rowan. Steven Miles was also an important part of her life. She will be greatly missed.
