Sally Marie Rains

Sally Marie Rains, 84, of Hixson, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024.  She was a co-founder of Don's Meat Shop in Hixson, with her husband Donald Lee Rains.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Rains parents, E. E. and Grace Foster Watts; four brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Gail Tibbals; son, Donald Anthony Rains (Alice); four grandchildren: Leslie Williams (Nick), Amanda Tibbals, Will Rains (Nicole) and Joshua Yarbrough (Stephanie); and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 3:00-5:00 pm Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.  Funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
