Ruth Alice Young

Ruth Alice Young, 86, of Hixson, passed away May 27, 2021. She was a daughter of, the late, Gladys and James Clayton. Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother, friend and servant of God. She was a faithful member of Daisy Church of God for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lee Young, sons, Larry Albright Young and Randal Lee Young. Survivors include her daughters, Connie Dale Cartwright, Rhonda Gail (Breland) Millican, Starla Kay King, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Ruth Alice Young was a faithful Christian and fervent prayer warrior for most of her life. She was absolutely the most wonderful mother that always made the littlest things in life the biggest and most precious memories of life. She loved spending time with her family, reading her bible and was laughing at any given moment over everything. Ruth loved and cherished all of her family with every fiber of her being. She will forever be the root of where faith and family comes from for all of her family. She was most assuredly fearfully and wonderfully made. Visitation will be 3-8 PM, Saturday May 29, 2021 and 11:30-1:30, Sunday, May 30, 2021, a graveside service will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Rev.
