Ronald Levon Kell

Ronald “Ronnie” Kell, 71, passed away peacefully at his home June 22, 2021. Ronnie was an avid fisherman and gardener and spent much of his time outdoors with his family and loyal Australian Shepherd. He loved life and loved people but most of all, he loved his wife of 51 years and his children. He was a devoted husband and father and his legacy will live on through the many people he touched with his wise advice and friendship. Ronnie graduated from Kirkman Technical High School in 1969 and worked for Buzzi Unicem Cement for 33 years before retiring. He was a faithful member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church where he made lifelong friends in fellowship. It brings those who loved him comfort that he went home to be with the Lord, although he will be missed daily, they rejoice knowing that he is healthy and whole and they will meet again in the sky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Irene Kell and his sister Caroline Lewis. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Brenda Kell, daughter, Jennifer Kell-Frost (Ryan), son, Chad Kell, granddaughter, Riley Kell, and his loyal companion and dog, Buddy, brother, Richard (Linda) Kell, Donnie (Mary Ann) Kell, sister, Jo Smith as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 4-8 pm and again on Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 1-2 at Lane Funeral Home with funeral to follow at 2:00 pm in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home. Pastor Rocky Bradford will officiate, with a special prayer by Charlotte Harvey. Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
