Robert H. Webb, 84, entered his eternal home on Friday, January 8, 2021 after a brief illness. He graduated from Bledsoe County High School in 1956 and was warehouse manager for Southern Wholesale, and then for Wholesale Supply until his retirement in 2010. He served as a deacon at Mountain Creek Church of Christ for many years where he was over the building and grounds. He was dedicated to his church family and served in whatever way he could over the years including driving the “Joy Bus” bringing children to church and coaching the men's church softball team. While he loved traveling and spending time with his family he also enjoyed fishing, gardening and being outdoors. He was a loyal fan of the Tennessee Volunteers and Tennessee Titans. He was preceded in death by parents, Kittie and Polk Webb; brothers, Mark and Henry Webb; and sisters, Blanche Campbell and Ruby Webb. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Webb; son, Mike (Donna) Webb; daughter, Sandra Webb; and granddaughter, Kirby Webb; sister, Virginia (Ronald) Robbins as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 15, 2021 with funeral service at 2:00 pm in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and interment to follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Due to COVID, the family requests that visitors wear masks and socially distance for the visitation and services. The family would like to thank the nursing staff of CCU at Memorial Hospital for the extraordinary care and compassion they showed to our dad and our entire family during his hospitalization. Your dedication and kindness will never be forgotten, and he loved you all so very much. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Robert’s name to Mountain Creek Church of Christ, 985 Runyan Drive, Chattanooga Tennessee, 37405.
