Robert Edward Pace

Robert E. Pace, 54, of Soddy Daisy passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 4th, 2020.
Robert is survived by his wife of 31 years, Tammy, son Noah and sister Annette Long. He is
preceded in death by his mother, Carol Pace, father Gerald E. Pace, and brother Gerald E Pace
Jr. (Butch). Robert attended Red Bank High School, class of 1983. In 1988 he married his Jr. High sweetheart, Tammy Jones. In January 1995 they welcomed their only child Noah into the world. Robert was employed at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga for many years as the facility
manager and developed many lasting friendships. He was currently employed at Thrive at
Browwood on Lookout Mountain, as the facility manager. He was very devoted to his job and
passionate about what he did. He had developed a new work family at Thrive in the short time
he had been there. He enjoyed spending time with his family and trips to Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains. He loved working with wood and surprising his wife with things she mentioned she would like to have made for the house. Robert was referred to by many as a big teddy bear. He was a generous, kind hearted person who always put others before himself. He was a loving, devoted husband and father. He had a great sense of humor and always made everyone laugh. His wife Tammy always referred to him as her best friend.
He was very blessed to have such a large network of friends, family, and co-workers that
