Robert Edward Lee Jr

LTC. (Ret.) Robert E. Lee, Junior passed into the hands of our loving Lord on March 9, 2019. He served in the Army for 28 years including a tour in Vietnam with the 321FA Battalion, 101st Airborne Division. Following retirement, he taught JROTC in Hamilton County Schools. He was member of St. Jude Parish. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father and dear friend to many.

He is survived by his daughter, Rosemary Lee; son, Robert E. Lee III and wife Kathleen, grandchildren, Amanda Lee Dove and Jessica Lee Sorensen, great grandson Jacob Dove, great granddaughter Adelaide Sorensen; Daughter, Laurinda Lucas and husband David Lucas, grandchildren Olivia Lucas, Russell Lucas, Anastasia Lucas, and Genevieve Lucas. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Diane, his wife Patricia Gibson Lee and his sister Sue Lee Strangi.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM March 12, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with a scripture and Rosary vigil starting at 7:00 p.m. The funeral Mass will be on March 13 at 11 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church followed by internment in the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1 PM.
In lieu of flowers, Robert asked that gifts be made to a charity of choice.
