Robert “Bob” Lee Butcher, 86, of Chattanooga, formerly of Clay WV, entered heavens gates on February 1, 2021, at home surrounded by family. He was born October 17, 1934 to Lloyd and Ruth Butcher. Bob joined the marines at a young age and was proud to have served his country. He owned and operated Bob’s Body Shop and The Tucker Country Inn. He was a member of Grace Nazarene Church in Hixson, and was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Effie (Tanner) Butcher, 2 infant children, parents, several brothers and a sister. He is survived by daughters, Beverly (Ed) Bosley of Chattanooga, Cindy (Jerry) Dunlap of Clendenin, WV., grandchildren, Eric (Lindsey) Bosley of Chattanooga, Erin Bosley of Maryville, TN, Lindsay Dunlap of Charleston, WV, Michelle (Adam) Dunlap-Richmond of Morgantown, WV, and great-grandson Maddux Bosley of Chattanooga, sisters Jean Williams of Clay, WV, Janet (Jim) Vieth of Bellview, OH, Judy (Bruce) Cantrell of Medina, OH, Dawn Sheidler of Bloomville, OH, and Sharon (Kermit) Oxley of Howell, MI as well as several nieces and nephews.
