RALPH DUNCAN MURPHEY

Ralph Murphey, 88, of Chattanooga, died peacefully at home on Oct. 4, 2019. He was born February 12, 1931, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is survived by a son, sister, two granddaughters, and multiple cousins.
He attended Georgia Institute of Technology with a concentration in electrical engineering. He achieved the rank of Captain in the United States Air Force and served with honor as a fighter pilot in the Korean War, earning several medals and commendations.
Military funeral services and interment will be October 11 at 11:00 A.M. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Min. Kenneth Chambers officiating.
