Phyllis Higgins Lundien, 92, of Chattanooga, TN, homemaker and business owner (Estates by S&P), died January 30, 2020 at Ascension Valley Residence, Chattanooga, TN. Phyllis was born December 6, 1927 in Chattanooga, TN. She attended Chattanooga High School and the University of Chattanooga. Phyllis was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Chattanooga, TN. Her hobbies included collecting antiques, studying calligraphy, and a variety of other crafts. She was preceded in death by husband Richard Johnson; husband Jack Kaisner; husband Edwin Lundien; parents, Alonzo S. Higgins and Aladean K. Higgins; and brother, Stanley Higgins. Survivors include daughters, Deane Johnson; Kristen (John) Davis; sons, Karl (Sandy) Kaisner; and Darryl Kaisner; grandchildren, Christopher (Brittany) Davis; Parker Davis; Megan (Gus) Wilson, and Kaitlin (Jonathan) Patterson; nieces/nephews Jean (George) Warthen, David (Bonnie) Higgins and Ann (Kerry Blind) Higgins; and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 1 pm followed by funeral services at 2 pm at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 848 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN, Saturday, February 8, 2020. The family would like to express appreciation to the Ascension Valley Residence and Hospice of Chattanooga for the loving care given to our mother. Donations may be made to the Ascension Valley Residence Unit B, Hospice of Chattanooga and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
