Patricia Keown Sorrell

Patricia Keown Sorrell, born January 30, 1938 and passed away at the age of 82 on May 20, 2020. She was born in Ridgedale and resided in Hixson at the time of her death. She was a lover of the outdoors and nature, especially the Tennessee mountains and lakes. She was also a Tennessee Vol fan all the way! She was very active in her church and community as well as her many long term friendships and Central Connection family. She was loved by everyone that knew her and never missed an opportunity to make a new friendship. She was known to help anyone and everyone that she could along her life. She was an avid supporter of St. Jude charities as well.. She is survived by her five children, Jim (Denise) Byerley, Bob (Mindy) Byerley, Chris (Tammy) Byerley, Becky (Doug) Brown, Chip (Amy) Blevins as well as her nine grandchildren, Christi (Lee) Mendenhall, Dani (Gabriel) Isenberg, Robbie (Schae) Byerley, Noah Byerley, Lucas Byerley, Samantha (Gary) Broome, Molly Terrell, Cord Terrell, Abby Blevins as well as bonus grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren with the eighth on the way. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be having a Celebration of Life gathering for her at a later date due to current social distancing practices.
