Pamela Jean Gowan

Pamela Jean Gowan, 66, of Chattanooga, passed away March 19, 2021 from Leukemia and Lymphoma. She was born January 21, 1955 in Chattanooga.  After attending Central High School, Pam was proudly employed by Red Food, Bi-Lo and Food City Stores, where she was the floral department manager and floral designer for over 25 years as many knew her as “the flower girl”.  She was always joyful and smiling, she never met a stranger. She will truly be missed by so many. She was a member of the JOY Sunday School Class at Red Bank Baptist Church for many years. Pam is preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” Goins and Frankie Hutton, and older brother, Bobby Goins. She is survived by her son, Kevin Gowan; grandchildren, Bryson and Brooke Gowan; sisters, Darlene Bean and Angela Goins; nieces, Gidget Goins and Hollie Gilreath; nephew, Chris Goins; and longtime companion, Michael Turner. Memorial Service will be held at Lane Funeral Home Monday, April 5, 2021 with family receiving friends from 5:00-7:00pm, with family and friends to speak at 6:00pm.
