Mittie Worley, 73, of Hixson, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 26, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Mittie was a member of Hixson First Baptist Church for over 56 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mittie is survived by her husband of 55 years James “Jimmy” Worley; daughters Angie ( Jonathon) Stone and Sarah ( Steve) Logan; sister Gerri ( Don) Tramel; brother Ronnie ( Kathy) Edgemon; eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 12-8 pm at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace and from 8-11 am on Wednesday
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Terry Shannon officiating
Interment to follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
