Mary Lou (Boudrie) Dall, surrounded by family and friends, went home to be with Our Lord on November 22, 2018.
Mary Lou, a native of Ypsilanti, MI, was the youngest daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary Louise Ferrari Boudrie and was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Ann (Boudrie) Stevens, and her brother, Edward Michael Boudrie.
Survivors include her husband, Peter Andrew Dall, Sr., Hixson, TN; one son, David George Dall, II (Jessica), Chattanooga, TN; 2 grandchildren, Isaiah and Caitlynn Adkins, Chattanooga, TN; her sister, Marcia B. Glenn, Duncan, SC; and her faithful companion, Littlefoot.
Mary Lou was a 1968 graduate of Berea High School, Berea, SC; and attended Chattanooga State Community College. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant throughout her 47 year working career. Since 2002, she has volunteered as the newsletter Publisher for the Navy League of the United States , John J. Spittler Council, Chattanooga, TN (NLUS); and in recent years also serves as the newsletter Publisher for the Military Officers Association of Chattanooga (MOAA). She has received National awards/recognition for both publications.
Mary Lou was of the Catholic faith, and was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Chattanooga, TN.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Thursday November 29, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Lane Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors and guests Thursday, 10:30 a.m. -12:00 noon prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
We would like to give special thanks to her dear and special friends who assisted the family during this trying time: Dr. John D. Whelchel, retired, former Director of Piedmont Transplant Institute, Atlanta, GA; and Hospice of Chattanooga.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Chattanooga Cancer Society or Chattanooga Kidney Foundation.
