Mary Chadwick

Mary Lois Broom Chadwick, 94, of Chattanooga passed away July 28, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lois Broom. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Chadwick Sr.; her two sons, Louis Jr. and Michael; and her siblings, Emmett Broom and Grace Broom Wofford.

Mary was a dedicated homemaker and caregiver. She devoted her entire life to taking care of her family, including the daily care of her cherished daughter, Debbie. She was active for many years at the Orange Grove center, both as a parent and a volunteer. Even in her hobbies of sewing, gardening and canning she provided for her family, creating wonderful meals and beautiful hand sewn creations that are still talked about and treasured.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Barbara and Debbie; granddaughters, Lisa, Adrienne, and Juanita; as well as many more beloved family and friends.
Her family deeply thanks Amy, Erin, Kristy and Pam of the Mountain View team at Hospice of Chattanooga for their wonderful care of Mary, as well as their support of the family.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 3-6pm at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace.
