Martha Bonnie Lee Higgins

Martha Petitt Higgins, 97, of Red Bank, passed away July 22, 2021. She was a Registered Nurse for over 45 years and a member of Ridge Crest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Gaudie Mae Petitt, husband, William George Higgins, sons, Tommy and Mike Higgins, brothers and sister-in-law, Durwood Petitt, Bob (Shirley) Petitt, sister and brother-in-law, Vera (Raymond) Thompson. Survivors include her daughter, Beverly (Roy) Lewis of Hixson. Son, Rick (Kathy) Higgins of Apison, ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, brothers, Harmon (Wanda) Petitt, of Summerville, GA, Billy Charles (Jane) Petitt, of Summerville, GA, sister, Charlotte Ann (Leon) Dooley, of Fort Payne, AL, sister-in-law, Ruby Petitt and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 2-4 PM and Monday, July, 26, 2021 from 1-2 PM at Lane Funeral Home with a service to follow at 2:00 PM in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Smith officiating, Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
