Martha Douglas Brightwell

Martha Lyle Brightwell, born in Nashville the daughter of the late Hugh and Pauline (Moore) Lyle on January 13, 1925 and died December 17, 2019. Mrs. Brightwell was a member of Red Bank Church of Christ and the Clear Creek Church of Christ. She was a docent for the Hunter Museum of Art for many years.

Martha is preceded in death by her husband Rowland B. Brightwell and brother, Hugh Lyle.
She leaves her children: Lynda Brightwell (Ray) Russell, Rowland B. Brightwell II, and Patricia Brightwell (David) Stevens; grandchildren: Lee Russell Longmire, Ray Russell, Rowland B. Brightwell III, Chad Brightwell, Catherine Stevens Cole and Scott Stevens; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will hold a private service Monday, December 23, 2019.
