Margaret "Margie" Dawn Pendergrass

 Margaret “Margie” Dawn Merriman Pendergrass, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the age of 75 surrounded by her loved ones.

In addition to her father, Daniel Merriman; mother, Margaret Daniel, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter Pendergrass; and brother, Daniel Merriman.

She is survived by many generations including children, Christine (Clifford) Goins of Red Bank TN and  Benjamin (Bobbie) Pendergrass of Collinsville Oklahoma; grandchildren, Haley (Coye) Ford of Red Bank Tn, Ethan Pendergrass of Collinsville Oklahoma; sister, Judy Parker of Red Bank Tn; honorary sisters, Linda Duncan and Bea Collins; many nieces and nephews; and the Pride and Joy of her life great-granddaughter, Jo-ella Ford.

Margie was a member of One Accord Community Church in Red Bank. She was a faithful woman who loved the lord, her family, friends, and church. Throughout her life, she made a strong impact on everyone around her. She could make any situation good or bad, comical in some way or another. You could not help but smile anytime she was around. The love and light she emitted was contagious and she never held back the love she had for her family and friends. Margie touched the lives of all she knew and will be sorely missed every day. There are too many names to list, but ALL their presence in her life brought immense joy and comfort to Margie.

Our family will receive friends from 9:30 – 11:30 Monday, March 18,2024. Funeral service will be held 11:30 on Monday March 18, in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Pastor Ray Williams officiating. Interment to follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Aaron Dodd, Embrey Shield, Larry Davis, Ethan Pendergrass, David Parker, Jimmy Parker, and Tim Gravett.
