Lonnie Dishmon

Lonnie Dishmon, 73, of Signal Mountain, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 11, 2019. He was born in Sequatchie County and graduated from McMinnville High School. He worked as the diesel shop manager of Southern Champion Trey Company and was a reserve member of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department for many years, before having to retire early due to health issues. He was also a long-time member of the Walden’s Ridge Volunteer Fire Department and drove the ambulance as well. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family, and will be greatly missed. He was a deacon and elder of Wayside Presbyterian Church for many years and most recently attended Mowbray Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Dishmon; sons, Mike Dishmon (Lucia Dishmon) and Scott Dishmon (Jennifer Dishmon); step-daughter; Kristy Tuders; grandchildren: Eric Dishmon, Bailey Dishmon, Molly Dishmon, Kate Dishmon, Kelsey Durham; siblings: Jane Keener, Shirley Johnson, Larry Dishman, Eddie Dishman, Rayburn Dishman, Jimmy Dishman, Terry Dishman; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday 6:00pm-8:00pm at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
