Lloyd Eugene Parker

Mr. Lloyd Eugene Parker Sr., 84, of Hixson, TN, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, November 3, 2021. He was born January 5, 1937 in Tampa, FL to the late James and Lola Parker.
Lloyd was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Red Hill Community Church in Whitwell, TN. Lloyd enjoyed collecting knives, watching the Atlanta Braves, fishing, playing golf and cheering on the Florida Gators. But most of all, he was a devout Christian who loved serving his Lord and his family first. Lloyd gave candy with Bible verses on the wrapper to everyone he met along life’s journey.
Surviving are his devoted wife of 58 years, Brenda J. Parker; son, Lloyd Eugene Parker Jr. (Krissy); daughters: Michelle Delores Parker and Sheila Parker Raby (Donnie); grandchildren: James, Christopher and Micheal Parker, Brenda Raby and Jacob and Sarahbeth Parker; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 2:00-6:00 Sunday and Monday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace. Funeral services are 12:30 pm Tuesday in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor George Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with funeral honors.
