Lindel Theron Brown

Lindel Theron Brown, passed from this life and went home to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, January 10 2022. Lindel was born November 6, 1940 in Augusta, Maine. He was the son of Rev. Joel D. Brown and Frances Thompson Brown. He was married to Nina Brown for 49 years and they have one son, Dewey Brown. He was a longtime member of the Lone Oak Church of God on Signal Mountain. He was also a faithful fan of the Tennessee Volunteers football team. Lindel served in the capacity of maintenance and caretaker of the Church of God Signal Mountain camp grounds for over 35 years. It was the calling and passion of his life. He spent many hours in prayer and worship at the camp praying for the young people attending youth camps at that facility. Lindel was a devoted husband, father, and brother. He will be greatly missed! Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 4-8pm and Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 1pm at Lone Oak Church of God. Interment will take place on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 10am at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
