Lenard Oscar Bailes

Lenard "Len" Oscar Bailes, 73, of Dayton, died Sunday, June 9, 2019. He was born in Miami, FL on August 6, 1945. He attended Hialiah High School. He joined the Marine Corps and served his country in Vietnam. He graduated from High Point College with a Bachelors degree of Science. He retired to Tennessee with his wife and childhood sweetheart.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Bailes; Sister, Marlene McDonough and her husband, Steve. His brother and sister-in-law Mike and Janice Policastro and several nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 12-2 pm. A graveside service will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2:30pm .
