Larry Richard Waller

Larry Richard Waller, 63, of Hixson, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 23, 2020.  Larry was born March 20, 1957 to the late Robert Lee and Martha C. Waller.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randall K. Waller. Larry was a devoted and kind spirited man who worked hard to provide for his family and loving wife of 43 years.  While his job as a truck driver found him driving many miles every day, his time with his family always had his heart.  He loved to spend time with his kids and grandkids.  He had a playful heart and loved to make them laugh and smile.  He enjoyed cruising on the pontoon boat and fishing and camping at Chester Frost Park.  He loved to make food for others and was always looking to try something new on the grill or in his smoker.  He had a great ear for music and built many sweet memories playing guitar with his friends and family. Larry is survived by his wife, Pamela Jean Waller; daughter, Stacy (Brian) Gooden; and son, Anthony (Jessica) Waller.  He was “Pop-Pop” to grandkids, Aidan and Owen Gooden, Bryson and Abby Waller.  He is fondly remembered by his sister, Linda Waller; his niece, Connie Waller; and great-nephews, Cameron Medrano and Coy Haggard. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 4:00-7:00 pm and Friday, October 30, 12:00-1:00 pm at Lane Funeral Home.
