Kyle Chambault Schaefer

March 12, 1985 ~ December 28, 2020 (age 35) 35 Years Old

Tribute

Kyle Chambault Schaefer was born on March 12, 1985 in Tallahasse, Florida. He was a chubby baby who loved to suck on his two middle fingers, which served him well during his early years in Texas. He also spent part of his elementary years in Atlanta, before ultimately settling on Signal Mountain and graduating from Red Bank High School in 2003. While attending college, Kyle worked at many restaurants where, in one, he met his future wife Brittany. They married in 2009. They had many adventures together, but their greatest was raising their two children, Jackson Chambault and Chloe Jane. Kyle loved coaching any of Jackson’s teams and was always down for a makeup session or mani/pedi by Chloe. Kyle was loved by all who met him. He could talk to anyone in a most engaging manner. He had a sense of confidence and personality that left anyone around him wanting more. He could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman wearing white gloves, if you will. He left this earth suddenly on December 28, 2020, exactly 18 years to the day after his brother Dustin. He is also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Kathleen Chambault along with his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Betty Schaefer, and his mother-in-law, Laura LaCourse. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Ellen and Jay Heavilon, his father and stepmother, Charles and Jan Schaefer, in-laws, Jerry and Melissa LaCourse, siblings, Jessica (Jose) Schaefer Ruiz, Aaron Heavilon, Eric Schaefer, Aanen Butz, Kristen Grimes, and Liz Thomson, in-laws, Zack (Michelle) LaCourse, Megan LaCourse, Jessie Toller and Rachel Toller. He also has several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him. Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, January 02, 2020 at Lane Funeral Home from 12:30pm to 2:30pm with a gravesite service to follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Schaefer Children’s Fund to be placed into a 529 education fund to help with college expenses for Jackson and Chloe. Send to SCF in care of Jay Heavilon, 3712 Ringgold Road, Suite 361, Chattanooga, TN 37412. Arrangements entrusted to Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415, (423) 877-3524.
