Kevin Ashley Rentzell, 54, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017.
Kevin was owner of RK Dirtworks and formerly a professional motorcycle roadracer with WERA and AMA.
He was an 8 time National Sprint Champion and 4 time National Endurance Champion in the 1980s and early 1990s.
Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Rentzell; father, Robert Rentzell; and brother, Robert “Bob” Rentzell.
Kevin is survived by his two daughters, Amanda Rentzell of Gig Harbor, Washington and Victoria Keese-Rentzell of Estill Springs, Tennessee; brother, Stephen Lindsey Rentzell of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Daughter Amanda and family will receive friends on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 10:00-3:00 pm at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
A Celebration of Life Service for Kevin will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday in the funeral home chapel.
