Kenneth “Ken” Allen Phillips, Jr., 51, of Red Bank, died April 29, 2020 after a brief illness with his family by his side. He was born on September 5, 1968, the son of Kenneth Allen, Sr. and Thelma Jean Phillips. Ken was a mechanic for the city of Chattanooga for 15 years and was a member of the Church of God. He enjoyed gold-panning and was a member of the Hot Wheels Club. He is preceded in death by his Papaw Hammers and survived by: wife of 26 years, Susan Renee (Hogan) Phillips, daughter, Ashlee (Peyton) Maxwell, son, Austin Allen Phillips, father, Kenneth Allen, Sr., mother, Thelma Jean Phillips, sister, Kim (Rocky) Beene, brother, Richard Phillips, father-in-law, Bill Hogan, mother-in-law, Sue Hogan, brother-in-law, Steve Hogan and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Visitation will be held from 1pm-3pm Saturday, May 2, 2020, with memorial service to follow in the Coulter chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
