Joy Evans

Pamela “Joy” Evans, age 69, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away Friday March 15, 2024.

Joy was born November 30, 1954, in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee to the late Victor and Sarah Mysinger.  She was a long-time member of the Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle.  Joy enjoyed Gardening, crafting, travelling, and decorating for any holiday.  She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Joy was preceded in death by her siblings: Larry Mysinger, James Mysinger, Mary Hixson, Victoria Scott, and Betty Mysinger.

Surviving are her devoted husband, Rex Evans, Jr.; daughter, Echelle Pasley (William); grandchildren, Rebecca Heard, and Jahonna Pasley; great-granddaughter, McKenzie Walker.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in Chattanooga Memorial Park with Reverend Buddy Collier officiating. 

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Barry Scott, William Pasley, Payton Scott, Cody Walker, Sam Wood, and Robert Mattingly.                       

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 8:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at Lane Funeral Home.
