John Terry Peden

John Terry Peden, 73, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021. He retired from West Rock. John was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the First Bible Methodist Church. John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edna Peden and wife, Wanda Peden. Survivors include his wife, Alta Peden; son, Doug (Marcy) Peden of Chattanooga; daughter, Stacy (David) Scholtz of Chattanooga; sisters, Linda (Tilman-David Eskew) Sullivan, of Shannon, MS and Alice (Greg) Artime, of Harrison; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Lane Funeral Home, with a service to follow at 1:00 PM in the Coulter Chapel.
