Joanne Randolph passed away, Monday October 16, 2017 at her home, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Henegar, AL on February 14, 1935. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Bertie Sherrod; and brother, Robert Gordon Sherrod.
She was a long time member of Tiftonia Church of Christ and a graduate of Sylvania High School (1953). Joanne loved helping others, studying the Bible, writing, singing, sewing, researching family history and spending time with her cat. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Lewis Randolph; two sons, Anthony (Dianne) Randolph and Rodney (Tonya) Randolph; four grandchildren: Brian, Daniel (Amber), Michelle and Rebecca Randolph; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Raymond Ritchee, Bill and Sue Weaver; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm Thursday at Tiftonia Church of Christ. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm. Burial will be in the Fuller Cemetery in Ider, AL.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen or Chattanooga Food Bank.
