Jewell Maxine Woody

Maxine “Sue” Woody, 88, of Red Bank, went to be with the Lord peacefully on June 11, 2019. She was a member of Alpine Baptist Church for 55 years as well as a member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Herbert Woody; grandson, Allen Woody; and son-in-law, Donny Chambers.
She is survived by daughter, Robin Chambers and son, David (Redena) Woody; grandchildren; Alex Chambers and Angela Hicks, great-grandchildren; Jonathan, Joseph (Hayley) and Caitlyn Hicks, sister, Sylvia “Tot” Hartbarger, beloved dog, Molly, special family friends, Rhonda Edwards and Brianna Whitlock, as well as lots of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 14, 2019 from 11-1pm at Lane Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 1:30 pm in Chattanooga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alpine Baptist Church. The family would like to give a special thanks to the employees of Life Care of Red Bank and Dr. Ozborn for their tender loving care.
