Janet M. Long

Janet Marie Long, 87, of Chattanooga passed away on Friday December 7, 2018. She was born on September 30, 1931. Most of her career was a Switchboard Operator for Erlanger Hospital. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Air Force as a Tele communicator for the Pentagon. She is preceded in death by her husband Neil Long.

She is survived by her loving companion Bo Phillips, daughter Stefanie (Chuck) Harrison, son, David (Terri) Long, daughter, Lisa (John) Kosky, son, Neil ((Susan) Long, grandchildren, Heather, Amber, Michael, Rebecca, Joshua, Cara, Madison, and great grandchildren, Caroline and Gunter. Visitation will be at Lane Funeral Home on Monday December 10th from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held at Lane Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday December 11 at 11am. Burial will be at Lakewood South Memory Gardens in Rossville, Georgia.
