Jim Johnson, 62, of Hixson, passed away October 2, 2017. He was born June 30, 1955 to Curtis and Marna Johnson. Jim was very involved with Red Bank High School Sports and enjoyed helping others. Mr. Johnson served in the Navy for 8 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Johnson and his son, Jason Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Johnson; son, PFC David Johnson (Aichelle); daughter, Kelly Belk (Tony); grandchildren, Nolan Belk, Rileigh Belk, Dylan Belk and Gabriel Johnson; mother, Marna Johnson; sister, Janice Matheny; brotherss, David Johnson and MIchael Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace and 10:00-10:45 am Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow in the Church at 10:45 am. Graveside services will be held in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association or The Kidney Foundation.
