James Lynn Conner

James Lynn “Pops” Conner, 62, of Chattanooga, passed away September 26, 2020. He was born the son of the of Gladys Hall and Joe Wiley Conner of Chattanooga, TN on August 9, 1958. Jim grew up in North Chattanooga working as a sheet metal mechanic for many years and being known as “the best one in town”. He was known for his witty since of humor, huge heart and hard work ethic which he passed on to both of his sons. He was the true example of a “simple man” and it did not take much in life for him to be happy. He loved spending time with his family, friends and especially all his grand kids. He is survived by devoted sons, James Kenneth (Courtney) and Justin Lynn (Leann), brothers, Joe and David and sister Debbie. His true joys were his 8 grandchildren Jackson, Madilyn, Jameson, Mekalynn, Joseph, Chase, River and Paxton. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-6pm at Lane Funeral Home, Wednesday September 30, 2020.
