Jim was an awesome brother. He had the best sense of humor and we had some great laughs! I got to talk to Jim just recently and we were giggling about stuff as usual. We will all miss you Jim and know that the world was a better place with you in it. Luckily we got to spend a lot of time together while you and your family lived in Houston and those were some great times. Will miss you bro -- Love Tonya

Jim, you were one hell of a partner and you taught me so much about being a cop. We've got it from here. Rest easy, brother. 😢

I worked with Jim for over 11 years, at Red Bank PD, during which time we became good friends as well as co-workers. Jim and I made some good arrests and took down some really bad people. All the while, knowing we had each other's back. My heart and prayers go out to the Kyle family, for such a sudden and tragic loss. May God comfort you and carry you through the days, weeks and years to come. I'm proud to have been able to call your loved one, Jim Kyle, my friend. God's Blessings.
