Jack Couch Holley Jr

Jack Couch Holley Jr., 74 , of Red Bank, passed away on December 5, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Couch Holley Sr., mother, Gwyn Tidwell and sisters Jill Suzanne Murfin and Cynthia Ann Herrell. He is survived by his son, Chaz Holley, the love of his life Chris Holley and nephews, Paul Herrel, Jack Rymer and Shane Rymer. Jack attended Vanderbuilt Teaching College and The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he was a lifelong member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Jack was a gregarious man of numerous and intense passions having worked as a teacher, restaurant and banquet manager, and police officer-among others. He was especially proud of his time in law enforcement which unfortunately was cut short due to an injury. Working the longest in restaurant management, he managed many hotel and resort food offerings of banquets, bars, restaurants, and room service across the south east from Jacksonville, FL to Memphis, TN. Jack was a quiet philanthropist and longtime supporter of various causes in conservancy, veterans, officers, and medical relief. Jack spent most of his recent years collecting coins and jokes to share and show those around him. Graveside service will be held December 11, 2020 at 2pm at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
