Irene Bingham Hale, 99, the youngest of 7 children, passed away peacefully from Huntsville Alabama to her heavenly home on April 18, 2020. She was born east of Cleveland, Tennessee, but lived most of her life in Chattanooga where she was the sweetheart of her loving husband, Billy Hale for 68 years. Irene graduated from Erlanger School of Nursing and worked over 35 years as an RN at Erlanger and Tenn. Chest Hospital. Plus she nurtured and was available to help family and friends with her nursing skills. She enjoyed doing craft projects with Billy and supporting their church family. Survivors include her daughter, Belinda Aycock(Jim); grandchildren: Amy Thomas(Scott) and Billy Aycock(Stephanie); great-grandchildren: James Hale Thomas, Katherine Thomas, Mariella Aycock, Hazel Aycock, and Ezra Aycock.; nieces and nephew: Patsy Keys, Terry Cross and Charlynn Clayton, other nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held Thursday April 23, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Lane Funeral Home~ Ashland Terrace. Services will follow in the Coulter Chapel (population mandated), or by live stream at https://admin.oneroomstreaming.com/event/list.
