Helena Gilreath died at age 96. She had 6 children - Janet Larkin (Deceased), David Gilreath (Elizabeth), Hugh Gilreath (Betty), Nancy Fussell (Jim), Larry Gilreath (Brenda), and Barbara Parker (Jim).
Helena Noleka Elizabeth Lawrencine Morrison was born October 23, 1921 at home in Shellmound TN. She graduated from South Pittsburg high school in 1940. Helena married Elmer Burl Gilreath in 1942 and they enjoyed many happy years together in Red Bank Tennessee. Helena was passionate about many things to include gardening, poetry, music, animals, nature, collecting trinkets, cross stitching, and she was always ready to go anywhere anytime!  Helena Gilreath was most proud of her many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 5-8 at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace and on Friday from 12-2
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday in the funeral home chapel
Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park
