Greta Tylee Walton

Greta Tylee Everett Walton, 55, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on May 4th, 2021, in Chattanooga, Tn. She was born in Bellflower, California to Bobby L and Wilma Marie Everett on November 9th, 1965. She attended Amurchee High School in Rome, Georgia, and Southern University in Collegedale, TN. She married Dennis J. Walton on September 28th, 1985 in Chattanooga, Tn. She was a home maker and she also worked as a CNA and had a passion for taking care of others always being a bright light in the lives of all she touched, and a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Greta is preceded in death by her son, Daniel Walton, brother, Bobby Everett, mother-in-law, Mildred Walton, father-in-law, Olath Walton, mother, Wilma Marie Everett and father Bobby L. Everett. Greta is survived by her loving husband, Dennis J. Walton Sr., sons, Yousef Walton and Noah Walton, daughter-in-laws, Yanti N. Sulaeman Walton and Mariah Wilson, sisters, Ginger Muysken and Terri Pitts, sister-in-law, Lois Graham, brothers-in-laws, Olath Walton Jr, Olath Walton, III and Michael Walton, Grandson, Daniyal Yushua Walton and Grandaughter, Noureen Maylika Walton as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends. Memorials are being received by Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace. The family of Greta Tylee Everett Walton wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hamilton Community Seventh-Day-Adventist Church and anyone who has reached out to offer support and prayers. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 1:30pm Friday, May 7th, 2021 at Lane Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
