Maxine Lowe Blalock

Maxine Lowe Blalock, 88, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Maxine was born February 8, 1933 and was a member of Lupton Drive Baptist Church with her service centered around giving to missions. She was a graduate of Hixson High School in 1951, it was there she was blessed in friendship with Martha Hill Pruitt for more than 77 years. Maxine was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Blalock; parents, Hattie and Luther Lowe; brothers, Thomas, Jack, Lloyd, and H.L.; sisters, Katherine, Nora, Evelyn, and Betty Grace. She is survived by her daughters, Lynn (Allen) Welton, Debbie (Jack) Coppinger and Brenda (Ronnie) Cofer; daughter-in-law, Lorie Blalock; grandchildren, Johnny (Shayna) Welton, Jennifer (Bud) LaMonica, Katie (Tim) McBryar, Reece (Mary Catherine) Cofer, and Josh (Katherine) Coppinger; great-grandchildren, Davis McBryar, Izabelle LaMonica, Sam LaMonica, Eli McBryar, Luke LaMonica, Talley Cofer, Baker McBryar, and Crew Coppinger; and many loved nieces and nephews.
