Freda Louise Warren

Freda Warren, 95, of Chattanooga, TN, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Life Care Center of Red Bank. Born on November 28, 1924 in Leicester, NC to Fred and Bonnie Maney. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was known as “Grammy” to the many children she loved and cared for throughout her lifetime.

Freda was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Roy Warren; her parents; ten siblings; and grandson, Kerry Richelson. Survivors include four daughters, Dianne and the late Bill Tittle, Cindy and Charlie Hughes, Sandra and Steve Richelson, Joyce and Doug McNew; sister, Betty Humphries; four grandchildren: Mandy Jackson (Chris), Courtney Rackley (Kevin), Amber Keegan (Brian), Aslyn McNew (Robert); six great-grandchildren: Jamie, Luna, Jax, Josh, Connor, Karson; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at noon Friday, March 6, at White Oak Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Burkhart and the Rev. Luke Littrell officiating. Burial will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 Thursday, March 5, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, and 10-12 at the church on Friday, March 6.
