Evelyn was born on May 15, 1929 in Stevenson, Alabama and passed on October 27, 2019.
She is survived by her children Loretta Wasson, Kyle Leburt (Roberta) Thurmond, Vernon Thurmond, 6 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Burt, and grandson Brian.
Visitation will be Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Funeral Services Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace.
