Edwin Roelse, age 90, of Chattanooga passed away July 7, 2018.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He worked 50 years for Interstate Erection as an Iron Worker and retired as Superintendent. He was a member of Iron Workers Local 8 for 65 years.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 21 years, Carol; wife of 45 years, Dorothy; grandson, Steven Bowen; several brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory include: daughter, Sharon A. Bowen (Floyd) of Sheboygan, WI; son, Ron Roelse of Buffalo, WV; daughter, Cheryl Krause of Plymouth, MN; daughters, Luann Schild and Rachel Boy; sons Michael Roelse and Warren Roelse all of Sheboygan, WI; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-children and step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 5pm – 7pm Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace. Funeral Service will be 11am Wednesday in the Chapel with Dr. James Rushing, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park with full military honors.
